The Bente Kahan Foundation together with the Jewish Community in Wrocław conducted an archeological research in the place where the New Synagogue stood 79 years ago.
All work was possible only by the German President- Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his financial support. He won the Ignatz Bubis Prize and then he has decided to transfer part of those funds to the Bente Kahan Foundation. The Foundation decided to spend them all on the archaeological survey.
