performed by Arnold Zable & Bente Kahan!

The concert in English will be held in the mikveh on July 6 at 18:00 and we dedicate it to our friends from Ukraine!
Arnold Zable is a New Zealand-born Jewish writer and human rights activist whose parents emigrated from Poland in the 1930s. The fate of his parents is presented in the book “Jewels and Ashes” (1991). Zable grew up in Melbourne and lives there to this day. The main theme of his work is the experience of migration and life in exile. The concert will take us to the world of Yiddish stories of Jews from Melbourne and Oslo, where Bente Kahan was born. We will go back to the childhood of both artists, and we will listen to the stories about the lives of migrants and their search for themselves.
Tickets: 50 PLN will be available an hour before the event.
